Merlin drifted in and out of consciousness, catching snippets of conversation as he did. None of it made much sense and nothing could hold his attention for long. There was another contraction, more sleep and then yet another contraction. He would wake up while the pain gripped him and then fall back to sleep in between. He was vaguely aware of a hand in his when the pain was on him. He held onto that hand as to a lifeline as he thrashed in agony but was strangely oblivious to the person attached to the hand. It wasn’t until his pains began to come too close together for him to sleep in between that he realized the hand he’d been holding was Arthur’s. He dropped it like a hot coal when he became aware.
Jack swung down hard with the axe splitting the piece of wood almost perfectly in two. He liked chopping wood, it helped him forget. Forget things like dropping out of his residency to help care for his elderly parents way up in the mountains. At least up here there was not a hospital or even a clinic around for miles to remind him of his abandon career of becoming a doctor. Now that his parents finally past on Jack was left with a stalled life and a mountain home that was not selling. As he placed another log on the chopping block he saw a snow flake fall on his hand, great he thought another storm! There goes my chances of getting into town today.
Niso grabbed Francis and laid him back down. "It won't stop unless you start pushing Francis!" He said, narrowing his eyes at him now. "So push!" He ordered harshly, gritting his teeth now. Francis choked back a half sob. No sensation like this had ever been inflicted on his body before; everything hurt. His eyes snapped open abruptly to what had to be the hardest set of contractions yet. "Gyahhhhh..!" He wailed then bore down with a loud grunt of pain. A horrific pain burned in his anus and his chest seized but he continued pushing. He could feel the ring of pressure building between his cheeks. Still panting raggedly, Francis wrenched his thighs apart and drove his chin to his chest. He pushed, hard, screaming profanities when a small, gory head bulged out of his stretched anus. Niso moved to in between Francis' legs, looking between them and biting his lip as he sees the head bulging his anus. "Keep pushing, it's crowning!" He said, biting his lip as he gripped Francis' knees, spreading them apart even more. While he watched, Niso suddenly realized that he'd never actually assisted in a birth before but had given birth twice. He chewed the inside of his lip as Francis continued laboring, hoping against hope that nothing will go wrong.
BirthDrake awakes to a bright light shining in his face,To the sound of metal clanging and some sort of strange melancholic buzzing spiraling throughout the room,Like a hoard of angry bumble bees. He groans as he tries to sit up,Wondering what's happened when he suddenly feels resistance, and looks down to see he is strapped to a table. His eyes go wide as he struggles against the restrains,Trying to free himself,But he only hears a solemn laughter emit from the room,And there, from within the dark shadows of the far corner of the room,A man appears. Medium height,Spiked Brown hair,Goggles in his hair. He wears green gloves and a lab coat,Holding two medieval looking devices in his hand. They look like the shapes of swords,With a swirl at the end,And electricity shocking from them at the speed of light. He laughs menacingly, and all Drake can do is slink back onto the table,Shaking with fear as the man grows closer,Soon the man is practically breathing down Drake's face, and he speaks,Speaks wi
Her stomach cramped as if answering Tina's cries. She whimpered softly, "No, not yet." The sound of unlocking doors caught her attention and she tried to stand, to be defiant in the face of those who held her key to freedom. However, the way her back was gnawing her today, she could only lean against her cool walls. A group of her kinappers walked past her cell towards the wailing woman. Only one stopped before her. His sly eyes looked her up in down, studying her. A sickening smile came to his face when he noticed the pain in her eyes. "Not so snappy today, eh?" She smirked, "Maybe you'll be like your friend down there." He thrust his head in Tina's direction, laughing at the horror which spread of her face. He walked on cackling and she thrashed against her short chains, enraged and terrified. How could anyone do this to her? She bit back a cry as another contraction rippled across her belly. They were coming closer together and getting stronger. "Nonono.." she shook her head in disbelief. She didn't want to have this baby! Her body ignored her pleas, however, and as time dragged on her labor progressed.
Amy's Story - part 1Amy laid back as the contractions worsened. She could feel the baby moving down into her hips and moaned in pain. Leshia was there to help her, but it was somewhat of an embarrassment. Amy barely felt female at all on the inside, and if it wasn't for that witch's gender spell, she would never had been pregnant in the first place. As far as she was concerned, the only thing that made her predicament acceptable was that she had female genitalia.
Merlin eyed the angled seat of the birthing stool with misgivings. Yes, he knew that it was supposed to ease a woman’s confinement but he wasn’t really a woman. Still, the child would come in much the same way. He just wasn’t sure he had the strength to endure the contractions and keep himself upright as the stool was exactly that-a stool. It had no back, no support of any kind. He knew that usually a laboring mother would lay her legs along the flared wings of the seat and rock herself back and forth until the child came but usually a midwife was there to use her body to strengthen the straining mother. Who would help him? Gaius was amazingly vigorous for a man of his age but he wasn’t really sturdy enough to take Merlin’s weight for that long.
He screamed bloody murder, unaware of any coherent words coming out of his mouth or the work his body was unconsciously doing, until he felt a sharp pop. He heard Jason telling him the head was out but didn’t have time to react before the shoulders were forcing their way into the world as well and it took all of his strength not to pass out on the spot.
